Kaukauna boys named sixth-best program of last decade by Max Preps


Kaukauna Head Coach Mike Schalow was credited by players and assistant coaches alike for building the culture that led the Ghosts to two state titles and a state runnerup finish in the last decade. The program was named the sixth-most dominant of the 2010s in Wisconsin by Max Preps.

Jordan McCabe summed up the success of the Kaukauna basketball program with a pair of stories, each from a separate Ghosts’ assistant coach:

“I’ll never forget being in film as a freshman,” he said of the first. “To speak to the culture of our program, (Coach Dan Van Boxtel) stopped us right before we were going into the playoffs.”
