Brekke comes back to FVA to help Russom, Kaukauna


Kari Brekke speaks to members of the Kaukauna girls basketball program

When Joe Russom was hired as the new girls’ basketball coach at Kaukauna, excitement immediately started to spread throughout the fan base. After all, Russom took Appleton North to the state tournament three straight seasons and won back-to-back state titles with the Lightning in 2017 and 2018. FVA fans are familiar with Russom’s success.
