Historic former city library structure will be preserved in possible new uses


Brian Roebke photo/Mayor Tony Penterman cautioned that negotiations still are in progress for the city’s sale of the Carnegie Library building but made it clear tearing down or removing the historic building from its familiar place along Main Street is not acceptable.
Kaukauna’s historic Carnegie Library building was a focus of attention at the March 2 Common Council meeting.
