Sherwood Village Board learns DOT will not allow church street crossing to continue


Brian Roebke photo/Wisconsin DOT officials are concerned about where the current crossing from Sacred Heart Catholic Church meets a resident’s driveway on the opposite side of the street. They also noted the proximity of that crossing to the proposed new bumpout and crossing closer to Frogg’s Ice Cream.
The Wisconsin DOT recently informed Sherwood officials the familiar street crossing in front of Sacred Heart Catholic Church will not continue following the 2022 paving project for Highways 55 and 114.
