Mel Baeten celebrating more than 70 years as a band leader

In celebration of 72 years in music, Mel Baeten and some original band members are reuniting to play for St. Paul Catholic Church’s brat fry in Combined Locks on Saturday, Sept. 18, following a 4 p.m. Polka Mass outdoors played by Jerry Volker.
