Harrison residents scammed out of $78,000

If you get a phone call and think the deal sounds fishy, it probably is, and some Village of Harrison residents now have first-hand knowledge of the scam.
The Calumet County Sheriff’s Office reported received multiple fraud complaints from residents in Harrison resulting in a total loss of approximately $78,000.
