The Holland Town Board observed a moment of silence for Bill Clancy, the former town clerk who passed away Oct 23, at its Wednesday, Nov. 1, meeting at Van Abel’s of Hollandtown.
Clancy served the town for 56 consecutive years as clerk before retiring earlier this year.

Concerns about speed, especially along the busy Highway 55-114 state highway corridor through Sherwood, are fueling a drive by village residents to petition state DOT officials to consider lowering the current 30 mph speed limit through the village.
