Buchanan town board approves intergovernmental agreement with Kimberly

The Buchanan Town Board approved an intergovernmental agreement between the town and Kimberly for the maintenance of Creekview Lane and Railroad Street.
The agreement delineates what responsibilities will be assigned to each municipality and which responsibilities will be shared between the two.

Combined Locks Village Board working on assuming jurisdiction over pond

The Combined Locks Village Board offered to pay for a certified survey map of the dry detention pond property in Hidden Ridges and a lump sum payment to the two property owners, who each own half the pond property, in exchange for the village assuming jurisdiction over the pond property.

Kimberly Village Board adjusts fees for liquor licenses, weights and measures, publications

Clerk’s fees for copies and publication fees for liquor licenses were reduced and the weights and measures fee for petroleum pumps was raised $2 by the Kimberly Village Board last week.

When the City of Kaukauna found there were complications regarding the usually routine process of bidding for a new snow plow truck they faced a disappointing set of choices. But the Kaukauna Board of Public Works learned at their Dec. 6 meeting sometimes there are alternatives available.

Kaukauna Common Council approves ambulance service agreement with Combined Locks

Calling it a “win-win” situation, Kaukauna Fire Chief Jake Carrel endorsed a proposed agreement with Combined Locks that will provide ambulance service to the village beginning Jan. 1.
The agreement was unanimously approved by the Kaukauna Common Council at its Dec. 7 meeting.
