Sunday morning Kaukauna house fire results in a total loss


Submitted photo — Firefighers from Kaukauna and Little Chute fought a fire on Woodhaven Lane, located off Hillcrest Drive, in Kaukauna on Sunday morning.
The Kaukauna Fire Department responded Sunday morning at 6:45 to a structure fire at 15 Woodhaven Lane, where a single-family residential building was reported to have smoke and flames coming from the home. Firefighters arrived on scene within minutes to find the home fully engulfed in flames and the structure had begun to collapse.

Fire hits L&B Cabinets building in Little Chute


Brian Roebke photo — Fire caused extensive damage to L&B Cabinets in Little Chute on Thursday evening. The Little Chute Fire Department was assisted by several other agencies.
The Little Chute Fire Department was dispatched to L&B Cabinets at 1533 E. Elm Dr. at 8:30 p.m. following reports from a passerby stating they saw smoke and flames coming from a building.

Progress noted on Kaukauna Municipal Swimming Pool, sea wall projects
