RACK approves $150,000 loan for new construction

The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Kaukauna approved a $150,000 loan to Modix USA Inc. to be used toward environmentally conscious elements in their new facility construction in Kaukauna. The terms were a 3.97-percent interest rate over 15 years.

Gov. Evers, DHS offering At-home COVID-19 testing option

Gov. Tony Evers, together with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, announced a contract with Vault Medical Services that will add an additional tool to the Wisconsin COVID-19 testing toolbox. At-home COVID-19 saliva collection kits are now available to everyone who lives in Wisconsin, with or without symptoms, at no cost.

Gov. Evers to give State of the State address, budget message virtually

Gov. Tony Evers will deliver the upcoming State of the State address and biennial budget message virtually as COVID-19 continues to surge across the state. The State of the State address is delivered at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 12, and the budget message is delivered at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 16.

Fox Cities COVID testing sites remaining open into 2021

The Wisconsin National Guard has approved the extension of its COVID-19 testing operations in Appleton and Oshkosh. Previously all WING COVID-19 testing sites were scheduled to end Dec. 10.

The WING COVID-19 testing site in Menasha will not continue operations.

Candidates for April elections

An election will be held on Tuesday, April 6, for municipal offices. The first day to circulate nomination papers was Dec. 1, and the final day for filing nomination papers is 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 5, in the various jurisdictions.

If a primary is necessary, the primary is held on Tuesday, Feb. 16.
