Calumet County opens public COVID-19 vaccination clinic

Calumet County, in partnership with Ascension Calumet and St. Martin Lutheran Church, has opened a public vaccination clinic at St. Martin Church, 717 Memorial Drive, in Chilton. The clinic is typically open on Tuesdays, Wednes-days, and Fridays, dependent on the availability of vaccine doses.

Northbound turn lane closed at Main and Madison in Little Chute

The Village of Little Chute is replacing storm sewer located at the intersection of Madison Street and Main Street, closing the west bound/right turn lane on Main Street. The south bound left turn lane remains open for movements in all directions.

Kaukauna Utilities sets all-time record for behind-the-meter annual hydro production

Kaukauna Utilities set an all-time record for annual hydro generation production in 2020. The five behind-the-meter hydro generation facilities produced a total of 190,684 MWh in 2020, surpassing the previous record set in 2016 by 9,585 MWh. The more energy these five hydros produce, the less energy KU needs to purchase from WPPI.

The City of Kaukauna is an applicant for funding through the Safe Drinking Water Loan Program to address deficiencies in its public drinking water system. The project primarily includes the replacement of lead service lines throughout the City of Kaukauna.
