Let’s try this again - Paperfest, presented by Community First Credit Union, is back for 2021 with the Eli Young Band. An event that was postponed from 2020, Paperfest makes the move to Memorial Park in Combined Locks to help celebrate the Village of Combined Locks Centennial on July 15-18.

Eaglets likely in 1000 Islands active nest

Pair arrested for suspicious death in Kaukauna

A man originally from Hilbert but now living in Kaukauna was the victim of an accused crime on Wednesday, March 31.
The Kaukauna Police Department and paramedics were dispatched to the 100 block of W. Division St. for a suspicious death and found Brian Porsche, 37, who died of a single gunshot wound to the head.

Local Election Results

With three trustee seats up for grabs in the Village of Harrison, incumbents were 1-for-3 in last week’s election. 
Darlene Bartlein came in third to retain her seat but incumbents Lou Miller and Kirk Pontow didn’t receive enough votes to continue on the board.
