A 58-year-old male driver was arrested on Jan. 17 after driving through the round-about at Highway J/Lawe Street and ending up in the ditch off Interstate 41.
Kaukauna police officers arrested a 58-year-old male driver on Jan. 17 at about 1:30 p.m. after they were sent to the area of the Interstate 41 northbound off ramp to Highway J/Lawe Street for a crash involving a car that drove over the round-about and was in the ditch.

Flags flew at half-staff last Wednesday in Wisconsin to honor Stephen Smith, 54, a Vandenbroek Kaukauna firefighter who died on Dec. 20 after contracting COVID-19. A Vandenbroek Kaukauna fire truck carried his ashes to Holy Cross Church in Kaukauna for visitation. Smith spent 28 years with the Vandenbroek Kaukauna Fire Department.
