Gov. Evers providing $45 million in targeted assistance for restaurants impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic

Gov. Tony Evers, along with the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, announced that restaurants and other targeted small businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic will receive $45 million in assistance, bringing the total assistance distributed to Wisconsin businesses this year to more than $220 million.

Brown, Calumet counties appear to have consensus on Highway D/Man Cal Road intersection

Highway departments from Brown and Calumet counties appear to be on the way to approving a speed limit decrease on Highway D where it crosses Man Cal Road, which is the county border.

There have been some accidents at that intersection, some of them bad, and part of the problem may be the current speed situation.

More Wisconsin households may be “cutting the cord” and dropping cable in favor of internet video streaming services such as Disney Plus, Hulu, and Netflix.

Rolly the Robot rolls into St. Paul residents hearts

A Telepresence Robotics Pilot Project is taking place at Kaukauna’s St. Paul Elder Services, Inc. in Kaukauna to help reduce social isolation and bring families together. The goal is to improve the lives of people living in care homes in which the Alzheimer’s Poetry Project is conducting arts programming on a regular basis.
