The Kaukauna Police Department is looking for two suspects involved in an armed robbery that occurred the night of Wednesday, Nov. 11, around 6:30 p.m.

Officers with the Fox Valley Metro Police Department conducted an online Internet Crimes Against Children investigation on Nov. 9 and as the result of this investigation, Timothy Manns, a 43-year-old Kaukauna resident was arrested and booked into the Outagamie County Jail on the following charges:

The City of Kaukauna is once again looking for a donation of a suitable tree to cut down to be enjoyed by Kaukauna residents during the holiday season. The chosen tree will be placed in Hydro Park near Crooks Avenue and the donor will be recognized.

Incumbent Republican President Donald J. Trump won Outagamie County 54-44 percent but lost the presidency to former vice president Joe Biden, a Democrat. Biden won the national race with 75.4 million votes to Trump’s 70.9 million (51-48 percent) in the Nov. 3 general election.

Outagamie County reported a 91.45 percent voter turnout.

Kaukauna Utilities General Manager Jeff Feldt was recently re-elected to two leadership roles for WPPI Energy. At the annual meeting held Sept. 17, Feldt was re-elected to the executive committee, and on Oct. 22, Feldt was re-elected as chair of the WPPI Energy Board of Directors.

Municipal clerks in Outagamie County were left with just 33 hours and stacks of absentee/early ballots following a week of trying to work out a solution not of their making.

In an effort to reduce maintenance costs related to expected seasonal snow and ice, Outagamie County will modify the weekly outdoor warning system test schedule.

An unexpected event occurred recently when some absentee ballots were tested at the Kaukauna City Clerk’s office.

The expected result was to scan sample absentee ballots, watching how folded ballots scan through the machines and tally the count. It was a simple test of the recommended procedures.
