The Little Chute School Board approved the hiring of Little Chute High School graduate, Will Vanden Heuvel as high school technology and engineering teacher at last week’s meeting.

Nels Lawrence, soon to be retiring after 27 years with the Kaukauna Area School District, gave the district’s technology and engineering report at last week’s board of education meeting, receiving a standing ovation before he even started his presentation.

About 220 people spent 12 hours in close quarters last week to set the course for the future of the Kaukau-   na Area School District during the Future Strong Summit held Wed-nesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Joe Huss came aboard the Kaukauna Area School District Board of Education just before the COVID-19 pandemic hit and sat on the board during a very tumultuous time in education not only in Kaukauna, but in America.

A unique collaboration between 5K students in the Kimberly Area School District and Kimberly High School Family and Consumer Science students resulted in a lot of happy faces Friday in Kimberly schools.

Sadie O’Brien, who has spent 20 years in technical services with the Shiocton School District, was approved last week as director of informational technology by the Little Chute School Board.

She replaces Diana Sepe, who is retiring at the end of this school year.

The Kaukauna Area School District’s board of education has approved administration’s staffing proposal for the 2023-24 school year that sees a net reduction in certified staff of 2.168 full-time equivalent certified staff positions.
