Kaukauna bowling team includes special needs students


Brian Roebke photo/ Nick Grady has Cerebral Palsy, but that doesn’t stop him from bowling for Kaukauna High School since his mother Betty helps him set up. He’s believed to be the only bowler in the state who uses a wheelchair.
The Kaukauna Area School District is proud of its inclusion of all students in student activities and yet another example is the Kaukauna High School bowling team.
The team has a varsity team and two junior varsity teams. The unique part of the second team this year is team members consist of special needs students.

Boucher is Kaukauna Lions Student of the Month

Wesley Boucher, son of Brady and Janalee Boucher, was named Kaukauna Lions Student of the Month for the month of December.
When asked what subject area he’s enjoyed the most in high school, he said he loved everything related to social studies, especially classes taught by Bill Lee.

Sawyer Stevens, a senior at Kimberly High School, is the October 2021 Kimberly High School Student of the Month, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Darboy and the Times-Villager.
The son of Nicole Stevens, James Merkel, and J.J. Stevens has always been a numbers guy.
