Kimberly School Board approves out-of-country trip for middle schoolers

The Kimberly School Board approved an out of country trip for sixth graders at last week’s meeting. The trip will be to Costa Rica for students at Mapleview Inter-mediate School and will take place from July 8-15 in 2024.

Kimberly school district sees tax increase this year

The Kimberly school district saw a 41 percent increase with the budget this year due to private school voucher costs. The private voucher costs increased to over $800,000 this year and total over $2.6 million for Kimberly area taxpayers since the vouchers were approved.

Kimberly School Board approves phonological interventionist position

The Kimberly Area School District has developed and approved a new position this year as Angela Van Grinsven, a former second grade literacy teacher at Westside, will be the named as a phonological interventionist for the district.
