Brust leads McCarty Law to Holy Cross Tournament championship

Former Badger Ben Brust scored more than 20 points in four games of the 54th annual Holy Cross basketball tournament over the last two weeks. Brust scored 98 points in the tournament as he helped McCarty Law grab this year’s title.

Daniel Van Dyke led the way for the Kaukauna track and field team last week during the Ripon College Invitational. Van Dyke took home first in the 200 meter dash with a time of 23.58 during the road meet on March 21.

Riley Huss led the way for the Little Chute track and field team last week at Ripon College. Huss took first in the 3200 meter run with a time of 9:54.56, while Will Bakken had a third place time of 10:30.45.

Junior Campbell Roberts set a new Kimberly pole vault record last week during the Pam Kjono Invite in Manitowoc. Campbell had a first place jump of 11-10, while fellow junior Ava Sitek took second with a jump of 10 feet.

Holy Cross Basketball Tournament shows exceptional talent this year

The Holy Cross basketball tournament will take place starting on Friday at Carl Giordiana gymnasium at St. Ignatius school. The tournament will consists of 16 teams and will take place over the next two weeks.
