Kimberly’s girls cross country team took sixth at last week’s Midwest Invite in Janesville. The girls had 310 points, while the boys took 14th with 453 points.
The Little Chute Mustangs started and ended strong in Friday’s annual rivalry game with the Tigers from Wrightstown, 15-13, to put a damper on Wrightstown’s Homecoming.
The difference in the game was three possessions by Little Chute – the first two and last one.
Kimberly alum Cooper Re has provided strong leadership for the UW-Whitewater men’s soccer team, and his head coach calls him one of the best leaders that he has ever had in his coaching career.
Little Chute’s Ben Toeppler continues to have strong finishes during his junior cross country season. Toeppler led the way for the Mustangs track and field team as he took fourth with a time of 16:38.5 at last week’s Smiley invitational in Wausau.
The Kaukauna boys volleyball team earned a sweep last week against Notre Dame Academy (25-22, 25-22, 25-19) on the road before the Ghosts earned four wins in the Dave Hash invite last weekend.
The Little Chute Mustangs volleyball team had three players get double digit digs in their lone match last week. Izzy Van Handel, Aubrey Butkovich and Alayna Van Wychen each had over 10 digs in their four set loss to Freedom (22-25, 16-25, 25-20, 21-25).
Kimberly alum and UW-Green Bay volleyball player Katie Schultz recorded the second most kills in a Phoenix volleyball match with 32 in a five set home loss to Western Michigan (20-25, 18-25, 26-24, 30-28, 12-15).
