Little Chute junior Ben Toeppler took home a conference title at last week’s North Eastern Conference meet at UW-Green Bay as the junior has taken first in his last three races.
APPLETON – The Kimberly Papermakers football team used a three touchdown performance from junior Maddux Hermus and a two interception performance from Brennan Resch to end the regular season on a high note with a 28-10 win over Appleton North last week.
Kaukauna’s boys cross country team had four runners place in the top seven as they won the Brillion invite last week. Bennett Scherrer took second with a time of 17:06, while Brody Ritchie took third with a time of 17:14.4 as the boys won with 27 points.
Little Chute junior Ben Toeppler added a second straight win last week. After winning the Waupaca invite, Toeppler took first in the Baertschi invite with a time of 16:22.6 as Little Chute’s boys team took third with 100 points.
The Kaukauna boys soccer team’s shots on goal had the name Cesar all over it last week. Cesar Guevera-Colchado and Cesar Mendez each had more than one shot on goal in Kaukauna’s 1-0 loss to Oshkosh North last week.
Both Kaukauna and Little Chute got wins in a weekend tournament last week in De Pere. The Ghosts had a big tournament from Alexis Van Elzen, while the Mustangs had a big effort from senior Ashley Graf.
