After winning three of their last four games since July 11, the Little Chute summer baseball team is continuing its stellar season, moving to 13-4 overall with one week left in the regular season.
The Kaukauna Orange team went 1-1 last week, moving its overall record to 3-2 after a 5-0 win on the road at Appleton East Blue last Monday and then a 7-3 loss at home to Oshkosh White at Bayorgeon Field the following evening.

The Kaukauna Orange summer baseball team went 2-0 this week to bring its record to 2-1 on the season, which began July 1. Kaukauna won 7-2 earlier this week against Oshkosh West Blue.
Four Kaukauna High School sports figures from the past are being inducted into the Kaukauna High School Athletics Hall of Fame sometime this coming year. Due to Kaukauna Alumni Foundation rally being cancelled by the coronavirus pandemic, the presentation will be held sometime in the next year on a date and place to be determined.
Two things currently happen to be true: One, like Bob Dylan said, “The times, they are a changin.” And two, sports have always been a microcosm of our society.
Kaukauna’s Keaton Ferris was a standout, four-year varsity starter. Earlier this year, he committed to Minnesota State-Mankato, a Division 2 school, to continue his basketball career.
However, after considering all his options, Ferris has switched gears.
After starting 1-2 to begin the summer, the Little Chute baseball team has ripped off eight consecutive wins, including a championship at the Clintonville Tournament the final week of June and a 9-2 win over Neenah Tuesday night.
The Little Chute summer baseball team beat Chilton in a make-up game that was rained out on Monday to begin the week and then went 3-0 at the Clintonville tournament to finish the week 4-0 and move to 8-2 on the season.
