The annual Wisconsin Basketball Yearbook tournament is once again happening at Kaukauna High School and at Holy Cross this weekend with Kimberly, Kaukauna and Little Chute all playing in the festivities.
The Kimberly Papermakers boys golf team will have their accomplishments hanging among the other 50 banners hanging in the school’s gym next year. The boys golf team took second at last week’s state meet at University Ridge last week.
After a 12-inning win in the sectional semifinals against Xavier, the Little Chute Mustangs fell one game short of the state tournament after Waupun’s Chase Beahm sent them home with a walk-off home run in the sectional finals last week.

The Kimberly Girls Soccer team is once again headed to state as they are headed to state for the third year in a row. The Papermakers accomplished the feat after shut out wins over Appleton North and Wausau West last week.
Kaukauna baseball is headed to state for the first time in 72 years after jumping on both Kimberly and Bay Port in the first innings of their sectional games last week.
APPLETON - It went as expected for Nate Laabs and his Kaukauna girls soccer team during their loss to Appleton West last week in the first round of the WIAA playoffs. The Galloping Ghosts ended their season with a 1-0 loss on the road in a match they knew was going to be close.
