The Kaukauna boys volleyball team saw their season end after two losses to Neenah last week. The Galloping Ghosts ended the regular season with a conference loss to the Rockets before suffering a loss in the playoffs to the same team.

The Kimberly boys volleyball team punched their ticket to sectionals with a win over conference foe Appleton East (25-10, 25-11, 25-18) last week.

The Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts boys soccer team had a memorable playoff opening win last week. The Ghosts took Beaver Dam to overtime in the regional semifinals before ending their season with a loss to Homestead.

It would be hard to top Kaukauna’s 3-1 victory in the WIAA Division 2 regional championship held Satur-day night at KHS when the Kau-kauna girls defeated a pesky squad from Green Bay Southwest 3-1.

Kaukauna’s Scott Kluever and Kimberly’s Ben Engellend had hall of fame honors this year. Engellend was named to the UW-Stevens Point athletic hall of fame this month, while Kluever was named to the Wisconsin Wrestling Coaches Association hall of fame.

The Kimberly girls volleyball team continued to show their depth as they punched their ticket to sectionals with a home regional final win over De Pere (25-15, 25-11, 25-17) last Saturday.

The Kimberly girls cross country team is headed to this week’s state meet after taking second at last week’s sectional in Stevens Point. The girls finished with 71 points, while the boys will send Gavin Salzmann and Cayden Vosters after the boys took third with 95 points.
