When the Kaukauna Ghosts faced the Hortonville Polar Bears on Dec. 16, they were coming off their first loss of the season after three victories and lost their second straight game, by 15 points.

The Kaukauna boys basketball team saw its six-game winning streak come to an end in stunning fashion on Thursday night at Oshkosh West, giving up a 14-point second-half lead, losing 69-65 to the Wildcats.

The Kimberly wrestling team added two more wins last week after finishing fourth in a 30 team tournament prior to the team’s wins against Appleton North and Oshkosh West.

Addi Daelke has stepped up for the Little Chute girls basketball team. Daelke scored 15 points last week for the Mustangs in their two games played.

The Kimberly Papermakers girls basketball team gritted out two wins last week. Both of their wins against Appleton East and Fond du Lac came down to clutch moments for the team.

The Kaukauna Ghosts beat the Neenah Rockets for the second time in 14 days on Tuesday night, but it wasn’t easy.

Kaukauna got out to a 12-0 lead but the Rockets came back to tie the game in the second half before falling to the Ghosts, 67-60.

Brandon Brady and Noah Van Lankveldt led the way for the Little Chute wrestling team last week. Both placed sixth in the Dirk Sorenson Door County Classic on Jan. 28.
