Kaukauna boys pull away from Oshkosh West

It took a while but the Kaukauna boys pulled away from Oshkosh West Friday night, 76-59 after holding just a three-point lead at halftime in the Fox Valley association game played at Kaukauna. 
Head Coach Mike Schalow bemoaned his team’s start.

A second half run doomed the Kimberly boys basketball team last week. After leading by one at the halftime break, the Papermakers were outscored by 21 points in the second half of a loss to Oshkosh North.

Kaukauna junior Addison Baumgart is on a double digit scoring rampage. The junior has now scored in double figures in nine straight games including a 25 point performance last weeks against Oshksoh West.

McGinnis passes 900-point milestone for Kimberly girls hoops

Kimberly junior Kate McGinnis is inching closer to the 1,000 point milestone. McGinnis added in three more double digit performances last week as she eclipsed 900 points in her career. She currently sits at 906 in her career.

Kaukauna softball coach Tim Roehrig has added another honor to his trophy case. Roehrig, who has won more than 500 games as head coach for the Galloping Ghosts softball program was inducted last weekend into the Wisconsin Fastpitch Coaches Hall of Fame.

Kimberly wrestling takes fifth in Kaukauna regional

The Kimberly wrestling team had three second place finishers last week’s regional at Kaukauna High School. Brody Beck, Tanner Hart and James Thao all took second as the team took fifth with 111 points at the regional.
