Robert Fieck

"Bob or Bubushka"

Robert James Fieck - "Bob or Bubushka" Age 77, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024. Despite battling Alzheimer’s and bladder cancer for multiple years, Bob was still a very happy, positive, and loving person until he went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Bob was born on Jan. 16, 1947, to Wilma (Weimann) and Robert Fieck in Sheboygan. He attended Trinity Lutheran School, Concordia High School in Nebraska and then graduated Sheboygan North High School in 1965. He excelled in football, basketball, and baseball during this time and was a natural all-around athlete in his youth. Bob joined the United States Coast Guard in 1965 and completed 20 years of successful service reaching the rank of (E-9) Master Chief. This involved travels to the Arctic Circle, Antarctica, and most of the major oceans, lakes and river systems protected by the United States. Bob saved numerous lives during his military career but attributes his decorated career to God and his dedicated wife Carol (Henderson) Fieck. He later fulfilled the dream of living on a hobby farm, started a new career at Plymouth Utilities and finally a leadership position at the Sheboygan Falls Utilities. Bob and Carol later built a retirement home in Waupaca but then relocated to Kimberly to be closer to family. Bob married the love of his life, Carol Henderson, on Feb. 6, 1971. They had three children: Robert Fieck lll, David Fieck, and John Fieck. He is survived by his daughters-in-law: Stefanie (Wolf) Fieck, Dawn (Siebers) Fieck, Sarah (Bolender) Fieck; grandchildren: Mackenzie, Kolby, Brandon, Bailey, Joe, Asher, Allie, Charis, Eiren, Gracelyn; great-grandchildren: Bentley, Adah and Judah. Robert is also survived by his sister: Mike and Kathy (Fieck) Vandekreeke; and brother: Steve and Nola Fieck; along with numerous loved nieces and nephews. The Fieck family would like to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to Theda Care Hospice Nurse Ben Haney. You made our Dad’s last days at home much brighter and more comfortable until his passing. Our family is very grateful and appreciative. A celebration of Bob’s life will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, at Christ the Rock Community Church, W6254 US-10 #114, Menasha. Friends may visit at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Bob’s burial will take place in Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King.
