Cory Fritz

Cory Patrick Fritz - Appleton - Age 33, passed away on March 4, 2025, in Milwaukee. He left behind a lifetime of cherished memories and an immeasurable impact on those who knew him. He was born on March 17, 1991, in Appleton, the son of Daniel Fritz and Cheryl (Haen) Hartjes. Cory had a passion for Legos, spending hours crafting intricate builds that reflected his creativity and love for Star Wars. His greatest joy, however, came from his two beloved dogs, Panda and Cooper, who were his loyal companions and best friends. Cory is survived by his parents: Cheryl (Mark) Hartjes and Daniel (Dawn Abendroth) Fritz; siblings: Deanna Van Thiel and Emma Hartjes (Noah Prideaux); step-siblings: Amanda Peterson, Natalie Peterson, and Marjorie Peterson; nieces and nephews; Callie Fritz, Annabelle Van Thiel, Maxwell Van Thiel, and Ezra Van Thiel; grandparents: Elaine and Raymond Haen, and Bonnie Hartjes, and Ray Harvey; aunts and uncles: Terri (Don) Doherty, Becky (Gary) Haen, Dennis (Jennifer) Haen, Scott Haen, Sue (Wayne) Wegner, Jill (Steve) Duncan, Lee Hartjes, Keith Hartjes, Nanci Klanderman, Mary (John) Theisen, Jay (Mary Sue) Hartjes, Kris (Chris) Elrick, Sue (Joe) Zwiers, and Amy Fritz; numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends. Cory was preceded by grandparents: Gerald Hartjes, Ralph and Mary (Noonan) Fritz; uncles: Dean Klanderman, Stephen Fritz, and David Fritz. We would like to give a special thank you to all the staff at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee for the exceptional care of Cory in his final moments. Along with the staff of Versiti, for helping Cory fulfill his final wish of organ donation. This was not an easy process, but the care and consideration of these health care providers made it just a little bit easier.  May the Force be with him, always.
