Kimberly to apply for grant to replace lead water services

The Kimberly Village Board has authorized Administrator Danielle Block to apply for financial assistance from the Wisconsin Environmental Improvement Fund to replace lead water service to community residents.
Block noted the village “is committed to reaching 100 percent replacement of lead water services remaining.”

From Paper Seconds to Party and Print, 50 years in business


Brian Roebke photo/Karen Anderson is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Party and Print in 2022. The business operated as Paper Seconds for many years and moved to its current location in Little Chute in 2011.
It’s an accomplishment for a local business to survive in today’s business climate where big box stores and shopping online are so easy, but Party and Print has done it. Perhaps the most impressive accomplishment is changing with the times, changing names, and changing locations.

Town of Holland looking to move generator at sanitary sewer plant

The Holland Town Board may have a solution to the problem of accessing the sanitary sewer plant that’s being redone. 
Brock Joosten has offered to donate one acre of his property to move the generator that’s in the road right-of-way so it can remain a legal town road.
