Fox Cities Festival of Lights brings spirit of Christmas to Darboy

Many people enjoy seeing Christmas lights at this time of the year. You can spend hours driving around the Fox Cities, keeping warm in your vehicle, or you and get outside, get a little exercise, can see a bunch of displays at the Darboy Community Park in the Village of Harrison.

Combined Locks trustees add caveat to approval of utility terrain vehicles

The four supporters of the ordinance repealing the ordinance “All-Terrain Vehicles and Off-Road Motor Vehicle Operation” and approving a new ordinance allowing only utility terrain vehicles on designated Combined Locks roads supported a caveat to their approval.

Little Chute trustees vote to adhere to concrete streets for proposed development

After discussing the merits of asphalt versus concrete pavement regarding streets for a new village residential development, the Little Chute Village Board voted 5-2 to follow its customary recent policies and insist on concrete for the proposed Founders Estate project.

Kimberly to replace Verhagen Park playground equipment

The Kimberly Village Board approved the replacement of playground equipment at Verhagen Park for $91,112,999 with funds coming from the Park Improvement Trust Fund and from the Park Impact Fee Trust Fund.

Holland Town Board approves 2024 budget

The Holland Town Board approved its 2024 budget and tax levy at its monthly meeting on Thursday at Van Abel’s in Hollandtown.
The budget calls for projected revenues of $1,614,066 and expenses of 1,610,650.

The Mustang Club donated $60 torward the purchase of T-shirts and food for cross country state qualifiers.
