The Kaukauna Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3319 from Kaukauna keep having great success with its Golf with a Vet event, held Thursday at Countryside Golf Course and Van Abel’s of Hollandtown.
Kimberly High School received permits for a Homecoming parade on Sept. 27 and fireworks following the football game on Sept. 29 by the Kimberly Village Board last week.
At a special meeting last week, the Harrison Village Board approved a commercial condo plat called Amy Avenue Condominium developed by Turn Key Business Park LLC.
The sizes and types of vehicles, trailers and the length of time periods all may come into focus soon regarding what can be parked on village streets and for how long. The discussion came during the Sept. 6 session of the Little Chute Village Board.
The electors of the Town of Holland voted in favor of building a new town hall at the corner of Highway 57 and Holland Road at a special meeting of the electors on Wednesday, Sept. 6, at Van Abel’s of Hollandtown.

Chief Jamie Graff lauded Kaukauna’s first police dog, Rocko, who joined his handler, Officer Lucas Meyer, for his retirement at last week’s Kaukauna Common Council meeting. Rocko is now 10 years old and has worked on the local police force for nearly 8.5 years. That’s 59.5 years of active service in human terms.

A coach and board member of Kaukauna Youth Baseball is no longer a part of the group after he was charged with crimes related to his volunteer work with the organization.
The City of Kaukauna recently made a purchase to alleviate parking issues during soccer games and events at the Grignon Mansion, purchasing 4.75 acres of vacant woodland adjacent to Grignon Park.
