The City of Kaukauna Plan Commission approved a request for a special exemption permit allowing two residential dwellings at 105 W. Third St. in Kaukauna. Longtime city residents remember this building as Simon and Alan Cherkasky’s doctor’s office.

When Highway CE was built, it was a country road leading from Downtown Appleton to Hollandtown, serving the south sides of Kimberly, Combined Locks and Kaukauna.
