Ghosts remain unbeaten in 2020 after win over Wisconsin Lutheran

It may have been a sign of the recent success of the Kaukauna football team that the Ghosts were able to put away an overmatched opponent with ease.

Kaukauna improved to 3-0 by taking advantage of good field position and scoring quickly in defeating Wisconsin Lutheran 43-0 Friday night at Bank of Kaukauna Stadium.

Kaukauna soccer season cut short due to COVID-19

Kaukauna Co-Head Coach Alex Antoine said last week that Thursday’s matchup with Plymouth would be a good indicator of how far his team had come. The Ghosts lost 4-0 to Plymouth on Sept. 22, but nearly tied the same team on Thursday, losing by just a goal.

Kaukauna girls CC caps off undefeated regular season, boys fifth

The Kaukauna girls’ cross country team ended the regular season the way it began — with a dominant win.

The Ghosts’ girls finished first, beating Kimberly by 20 points at Countryside Golf Course, concluding their undefeated season with a Fox Valley Association title at the FVA Conference Meet Thursday afternoon.

Twenty Wisconsin schools, including Kimberly, join to form spring high school football conference

Kimberly football will have a new home this spring. It was announced earlier today the Papermakers will join with 19 other schools around the state to form the Fox Valley Classic Football Conference for the alternate spring 2020 season.

Mustangs lose 9-6 to Wrightstown in clash of defenses

Little Chute trailed rival Wrightstown 6-0 at halftime of Friday night’s game at Fitzpatrick Field. The only score to that point in the game had been a 40-yard pick-six by Tigers’ defensive back Jared Pelishek in the opening quarter.

The momentum shifted in the Mustangs’ favor, however, coming out of the halftime break.

Mustang girls go unbeaten last week with two wins over Marinette

The Little Chute girls’ volleyball team completed a home-and-home series with Marinette last week and came away unscathed, taking down the Marines 3-0 at home Tuesday and again 3-0 on the road Thursday.

Little Chute girls finish sixth at sectionals, Hammen misses state by two strokes

For the first time since 2014, the Little Chute girls’ golf team advanced to sectionals. Unfortunately, that’s where its season ended as the Mustangs shot a 425 to finish in sixth place last Tuesday.

Huss, Wilson once again lead way for Mustangs’ CC

Riley Huss and Mason Genke finished 1-2 for the boys and Jessica Wilson and Ella Pahl finished 1-2 for the girls at Thursday’s North Eastern Conference quad, giving the boys a first-place finish overall on the afternoon, while the girls finished second.
