Little Chute boys, girls CC each roll to wins at NEC triangular

The Little Chute boys, behind first- and second-place finishes from Riley Huss and Mason Genke, routed Luxemburg-Casco and Clintonville at a North Eastern Conference triangular last Thursday, while the Mustang girls earned first- and second-place finishes from Ella Pahl and Jessica Wilson on their way to a first-place finish as well Thursday.

Little Chute girls volleyball falls to 1-7 with three NEC losses

The Little Chute volleyball team continued its compacted 2020 fall schedule, playing three times last week, beginning with a 3-0 home loss to last year’s North Eastern Conference regular season champion Fox Valley Lutheran, followed by a 3-1 loss to Oconto Falls and capped off with a 3-0 loss against Freedom.

Kimberly girls tennis cruises to 7-0 win over Kaukauna

The Kimberly and Kaukauna girls’ tennis teams squared off once again this season as the Papermakers swept the Ghosts 7-0 last Tuesday, Sept. 29.

Kimberly’s No. 1 Grace Kieffer beat the Ghosts’ No. 1, Maddie Smith, 6-0, while the Makers’ No. 2, Isabella Zappa, took care of Kaukauna’s No. 2, Anna Roovers 6-0, 6-0.

Ghosts able to take field, cruise to win over Martin Luther

The Kaukauna Ghosts’ first victory of the 2020 season was simply getting on the field against an opponent.

Once they did so, the Ghosts earned a decisive 39-7 win over Greendale Martin Luther last Friday night at Bank of Kaukauna Stadium.

Kimberly girls win regional by 34 strokes, Kiley on to state

In difficult conditions that included wind and heavy rain as well as a delay because of puddles on multiple greens, the Kimberly girls’ found a way to still dominate their regional, finishing first with an overall team score of 368, 34 strokes ahead of second-place Kaukauna.

Kaukauna girls finish second at regional, season ends at sectionals

The Kaukauna girls’ golf team, continuing to improve as the season moves along into its late stages, shot a team score of 402 last week at Washington County Golf Course in Hartford to finish second at its regional and move on to sectionals.
