Little Chute girls play best round of season at conference championship, advance to sectionals

The Little Chute girls’ golf team shot a 202 on the front nine and a 194 on the back Wednesday at Wander Springs Golf Course in Greenleaf, ending the day with a 396, good for sixth-place at the North Eastern Conference Championship meet.

Kimberly girls finish second at FVA Conference Meet, win regional

Behind Peyton Lueneburg’s 88, the Kimberly girls’ golf team shot a 368 to finish second at the Fox Valley Association Conference Meet Tuesday at Winagamie Golf Course.

The second-place finish also cemented the Papermakers’ spot behind only Hortonville at the close of the FVA’s regular season.

Ava Bloch shot an 88 Tuesday at the Fox Valley Association Conference Meet at Winagamie Golf Course, leading the Kaukauna girls’ golf team to an overall score of 377 and a third-place finish.

It was the team’s lowest 18-hole score of the year.

The Little Chute girls’ volleyball squad lost a number of key seniors from last season’s team that finished the year fifth in the North Eastern Conference and made a surprise run to a sectional semifinal after an upset of 33-3 Fox Valley Lutheran, who won the NEC with a 9-0 record.
