FVA All-Conference wrestling team once again led by Kaukauna

After going unbeaten in the Fox Valley Association this season with a record of 6-0 and recording another team state title, the Kaukauna wrestling team headlined yet another group of FVA All-Conference wrestling teams.

Makers’ Paveletzke named first-team all-state, Asman, Kaukauna's Morgan honorable mention


File photo/Kimberly’s Jackson Paveletzke was a first-team all-state selection after averaging 19.2 points per game on 58.3 percent shooting, 87.1 percent from the free throw line and 56.1 percent from three.
Kimberly junior guard Jackson Paveletzke was named first-team all-state by the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Assocation for the 2020-21 season. Along with  Paveletzke, Kaukauna junior Chris Morgan and Kimberly senior Grant Asman were named honorable mention all-state.

Schreiber, Ghosts’ Van Zeeland named WBCA first-team all-state


File photo/Kaukauna’s Chloe Van Zeeland was named first-team all-state by the WBCA after averaging 15.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 2.7 steals and 1.6 blocks per game her senior season.
After playing crucial roles on their respective teams for the past four years, Kimberly’s Maddy Schreiber and Kaukauna’s Chloe Van Zeeland were both named to the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association’s All-State teams for the 2020-21 season.

Kimberly boys volleyball outlasts Middleton in five sets


File photo/Kimberly’s Cooper Polczinski had 14 kills and 3 aces in the Papermakers’ five-set win over Middleton and added 14 kills and 2 aces in the team’s home win over Neenah earlier in the week.
The Kimberly boys’ volleyball team moved to 3-0 after two wins last week, the first a three-set sweep of Neenah at home on Tuesday night and the second a dramatic, five-set marathon against one of the top teams in the state in Middleton.

Kaukauna boys begin season with 3-0 win over Appleton West

After ending last season with a loss to Appleton North in a sectional final on Oct. 29, 2019, the Kaukauna boys’ volleyball team got back on the court – at home for the first time in more than 16 months – and routed Appleton West 3-0.

Kimberly girls come back from 2-0 deficit to win opener

The Kimberly girls’ volleyball team took the court Tuesday for the first time since a heartbreaking 3-2 sectional final loss to Appleton North on Nov. 2, 2019.

Offense stymied for first time as Makers bring home silver ball

OSHKOSH — The Kimberly boys had perhaps the best offense in the state all season. The Papermakers averaged more than 80 points per game, surpassed the century mark three times and scored more than 90 on six separate occasions.

Kaukauna High School has selected 13 students as students of the month for February of the 2020-21 school year. Students are selected by a staff member in each department in the school.
