Kaukauna girls cross country routs Hortonville

The Kaukauna girls’ cross country team grabbed the top eight spots on Friday, Sept. 4, cruising to an easy 15-55 win against Hortonville in Neenah.

Anna Fauske once again led the way with a first-place finish in 18 minutes, 48 seconds, finishing more than a minute ahead of second-place Cailin Kinas.

The Kimberly and Kaukauna girls golf teams squared off in a rematch from two weeks ago with the Papermakers once again coming away with a 177-203 win two days after beating Neenah on the road at Ridgeway Golf Course.

Little Chute girls golf shoots 218 at Hilly Haven in season opener

Little Chute’s first “normal” fall competition took place last Tuesday as the Mustangs’ girls golf team got its season underway at Hilly Haven Golf Course in a North Eastern Conference triangular.

Despite a 45 from Karsen Hammen, Little Chute shot 218 as a team and finished third behind Wrightstown (200) and Freedom (216).
