For the second time this season, the Kaukauna boys’ basketball team came just a few points short of beating Fond du Lac. The margin was four on the road and once again four at home Thursday night, 87-83 in overtime.

The Kaukauna wrestling program seems like, at this point, it has filled the entire record book, not to mention trophy case. However, the Ghosts somehow came away from Saturday’s WIAA Division 1 State Individual Wrestling tournament having accomplished something they never have before: Putting seven wrestlers on the podium.

It took an extra day, but the Papermaker girls completed their quest for a Fox Valley Association championship Friday night in dominant fashion with a 63-22 home win over Oshkosh West.
