Little Chute Village Board grapples with troublesome construction charge


Brian Roebke photo/A crew from Fahrner Asphalt Sealers fog sealed the road surface on Taylor Street in Little Chute last week. A fog seal is an application of a specially formulated asphalt emulsion (thin liquid oil) to an existing asphalt pavement surface. A fog seal is designed to seal narrow cracks and restore lost flexibility to the pavement surface.
It was President Harry S. Truman who famously coined the phrase “The buck stops here.”
The gritty “Man from Inde-pendence” might have adjusted the phrase if he was sitting in with the Little Chute Village Board during their May 26 Committee of the Whole meeting.
