The City of Kaukauna plans to remove the refuse and recycling dumpsters from the gated site on Third Street. They will make two brief reappearances. The first drop-off day is scheduled this year for Christmas holiday season items on Tuesday, Jan. 6, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Tuesday, March 3, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. to coincide with spring cleanup prior to the city’s spring large and bulky item collection.

Citing problems with continued abuses by some residents with the opportunity to deposit excess refuse or recycling at the Kaukauna municipal site, the city is expected to begin a process of removing the available refuse or recycling dumpsters from the gated site.
