The pace of getting a legislative initiative from petition to ballot in Sherwood received some measured heat and impatience from at least one petitioning group representative during the March 14 village board meeting.

The Buchanan Town Board approved a resolution providing for the sale of approximately $1,800,000 general obligation promissory notes last week.
The $1,800,000 will cover the cost of capital improvement projects for 2020-22 and 2022-23. The resolution passed on a 4-1 vote with Chair Greg Sprangers voting nay.
