Junior Addison Baumgart provided another double digit scoring effort as Kaukauna fell to Appleton North on the road. Baumgart scored 15 points in the 49-39 loss as she went 5-for-16 from the field with one three point make in the game.

Little Chute senior Morgan Hietpas signed her letter of intent last week as she will bowl on the Marian University bowling team next fall. The senior signed her commitment letter at the Super Bowl in Appleton last Tuesday.

The Kimberly athletic community has gotten behind from one of their own athletic trainers in Jordan Moehn. Before Thanksgiving, Moehn was involed in an accident on Highway 151 and there will be a benefit in his hometown this weekend.

Mikey Wildes came up clutch for the Kimberly boys basketball team last week in a 53-51 overtime win against Fond du Lac at home. After a Thomas Meyers missed three late in overtime, Wildes grabbed the miss in the air inside and threw it up for the buzzer beating shot.

A fourth foul on 6-10 senior Jon O’Neill sent the University of New Hampshire recruit to the bench with the Ghosts holding a 43-33 lead Monday night over Fond du Lac with the outcome of the game still very much in doubt.
