Charlie Vanden Burgt showed his experience in Little Chute’s week one win over Shawano at home. The senior helped his team overcome their inexperience by getting four rushing touchdowns in a 35-0 win.

It was group effort for Kaukauna as they opened the season with a home win over Ashwaubenon on Friday night. The Ghosts had almost 430 yards of offense, while the defense forced four turnovers in a 42-14 win at Bank of Kaukauna Stadium.

The Kimberly boys volleyball team is taking it one match at a time as they aim for another conference title this season. Last year, the Papermakers went 23-14 overall, but were 6-1 in conference play.
