The Kimberly girls volleyball team is going through a lot of changes after a sectional final appearance a season ago. Gone are 12 seniors and a head coach, and in are three Ava’s and a coach with experience coaching at the school in the past.

Young team for Kaukauna tennis this season

Kaukauna tennis coach Brian Sanderfoot expects his team to be younger this season. The Galloping Ghosts return Audra Wall as their most experienced varsity singles player, but will have some spots to fill with around 14 or 15 girls competing for varsity spots this season.

The Kimberly girls tennis team will be looking to repeat this season. Last year, the Papermakers shared the conference title as Kate McGinnis and Julia Gurholt both earned three wins at the conference meet last season.

Kimberly grad and current member of the UW-Whitewater men’s soccer team Cooper Re had both his soccer game and life experiences grow with this past season. Re and his college teammates took a trip to Belfast, Ireland in May as the Warhawks played two games in the country.

The Kaukauna Angels ended a thrilling legion season with two straight losses last week. The Angels ended their run in the Triple-A bracket of the State Legion tournament with losses to Plover and Manitowoc.
