The FVA conference meet became a special one for Kimberly senior Julia Gurholt. Gurholt won her 100th career match and took first at the conference meet as the Papermakers took second in the invite.
A change offensively helped the Little Chute volleyball team get their win over Clintonville last week. The Mustangs elevated Leah Vanden Hogen to the varsity roster and it made an impact for the team.
Kimberly’s Liam Paradiso continued to make his mark on the rivalry between the Papermakers and Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts last week. He scored two goals in Kimberly’s win over their crosstown rivals.
The Kaukauna girls volleyball team bounced back nicely with a sweep over Appleton West last week. The Ghosts currently sit at 21-3 heading into a conference match with Oshkosh West tomorrow.
OSHKOSH- Kaukauna continued their impressive run on Friday night beating the Oshkosh West Wildcats at their own Titan stadium. With a final score of 41-14, Kaukauna ran away with the game early in the first quarter.
Kaukauna alum Cailin Kinas is trying to take this last cross country season in. The senior is currently running in her last college cross country season and is aiming at getting a cross country conference championship trophy this fall.
The Kimberly Papermakers showed their depth in their 35-7 win over Hortonville last week. The team ran at the ball for 209 yards with five players running the ball in the win.
The Kaukauna Ghosts golf team galloped their way toward a fourth consecutive conference championship last week. The Ghosts won the conference meet at Chaska by 35 strokes and broke last year’s school record of 328 strokes with 325 strokes at this year’s meet.
