The Buchanan Village Board at last week’s meeting agreed to administer driveway construction work exceeding the seven percent slope correction between the contractor and the property owners.
The work will be performed on Woodstock Lane, Stillwater Trail and Northbrook Court.
With the boundary agreement with Kaukauna expiring this year, the Buchanan Plan Commission last week decided to recommend that the town board authorize staff to negotiate a new agreement with the city.
With easements already secured for the Highway N stormwater pond, members of the Buchanan Stormwater Utility at last week’s meeting authorized staff to bid the project and establish a construction schedule.

The town of Holland is struggling with what to do with an unnamed road that leads to the sewage treatment plant in the hamlet of Hollandtown after new construction has put a lift station in the road right-of-way.
A few extra hours on weekends might not be noticed in some places but the possibility of adding some weekend hours for collection of yard waste in Sherwood is a large matter.
After attracting approximately 850 people to last year’s Great Pumpkin Walk around the Memorial Park pond, Community Enrichment Director Holly Femal notified the Kimberly Village Board that the event will repeat from 5-7 p.m. on Oct. 22.
