It is ‘undeniable’ that theatregoers and actors are excited to hear the ‘sound of’ plays and musicals being produced, and Kaukauna Community Players thinks ‘right now’ is as good of a time as any to make that return.

The Outagamie County Highway Department hosts a public involvement meeting regarding an intersection improvement project for Highway CE and Railroad Street at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 14, at the Kimberly municipal building, located at 515 W. Kimberly Ave, Kimberly.

Following a closed session relating to a lawsuit filed by Wisconsin Property Taxpayers, Inc. claiming that the town’s transportation utility fee is illegal, the Buchanan Town Board referred the matter to the town attorney.

Wishes and priorities. That was part of the Sept. 21 Common Council meeting in Kaukauna.

Social media blew up last week after City of Kaukauna residents received revaluation letters from Bomar Appraisal of Appleton.

Some say the assessment of their properties increased as much as $114,000.

The Buchanan Village Board at last week’s meeting agreed to administer driveway construction work exceeding the seven percent slope correction between the contractor and the property owners.

The work will be performed on Woodstock Lane, Stillwater Trail and Northbrook Court.
