The City of Kaukauna Public Works Department sent crew members to Menasha to take on the cleanup efforts in the past two weeks. Their initial focus was on the huge amount of tree limbs, branches and downed tree trunks uprooted and broken by the July 27 tornado.

The United States Marine Corps held a formal retirement for Master Sergeant Ryan Schmidt on Friday, July 31, at Doyle Park in Little Chute.
Around 100 people who gathered on the grounds of the historic Grignon Mansion in Kaukauna on Sunday, July 26, were treated to a look back in time when the Friends of the Grignon Mansion unveiled the contents of a time capsule that was recently unearthed from the mansion grounds.
