The Kimberly wrestling team earned six wins by fall in their other match of the FVA double duals last week. Brody Beck, Garrett Semenuk, James Thao, Daniel Grey, Tanner Hart and Tyler Cruse all earned wins by fall in a 51-21 win over the Cardinals.
Brody and Reed Beck are brothers that are the definition of motivation. The two have helped each other in their two sports together and are spending one last season wrestling on a team together.
The Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts wrestling team continued their conference dominance with two more conference wins against Kimberly and Oshkosh North in a double dual at Fond du Lac High School last week.

The Kimberly girls basketball team used a big first half run to secure their third win in a row in their crosstown rivalry with Kaukauna. The Papermakers used an 18-2 run to close out the first half before handing Kaukauna a 76-47 home loss.
The Little Chute boys basketball team was back at full strength last week. Senior Nolan Jakubek was back on the floor for the Mustangs for the first time since suffering an ankle injury at the Kress Center against Waupun.
Kaukauna was rolling along with a small lead throughout their matchup with Kimberly but made some critical mistakes and the Papermakers took advantage with a 73-72 double overtime win on a rare Wednesday night game on Jack Wippich Court in Kimberly.
Addison Baumgart is still being a consistent scorer for the Kaukauna girls basketball team. The junior added on another double figure game despite the team’s loss to Appleton North last week.
The Little Chute Mustangs got two players back from injury last week. Both Cooper Effa and Tyler Fischer returned from their early season injuries as the team opened up the second half of the season.
