Jayda Nelson continued her success at the plate last week for the Kimberly softball team. Nelson had seven RBIs and two home runs last week for the Papermakers.
Larissa Likes played a key role for Kaukauna in their 1-0 loss to Appleton East last week. The sophomore goal keeper had 14 saves against the Patriots, while Kaylin Wegand had a goal attempt in the first half of the match.
The Kaukauna girls track and field team racked up the first place finishes last week. The Ghosts had 10 individual first place finishes, while their relay teams all took first during a conference quad at Neenah High School.
Annika Ruel had the big performance for the Little Chute Mustangs softball team last week. Ruel struck out 13 in the team’s win over Crivitz last weekend.
Emily McCarthy had a big week for the Kimberly Papermakers soccer team. The senior notched five goals last week as the team stretched their win streak to 15 games.
Drew Joten has continued to lift up the Little Chute baseball team. The senior struck out eight batters and hit a home run last week in the team’s second game against conference rival Wrightstown.
For Zach Voet, being a multi-sport athlete allows him to stay active. The senior played a big role on the Kaukauna volleyball team this fall, and is a big part of the success of the tennis team this spring.
Kaukauna softball player and Wisconsin commit Paige Miller added another accomplishment to her resume. The Ghosts third baseman was named as one of the 32 nominees for the WIAA scholar athlete award.
