The Kaukauna golf team took third in the Rolling Meadows invite last week. The Ghosts had a point total of 350, which was behind only Kimberly and hosting team Fond du Lac in the invite.
Aiden Cudney led the way again last week for the Kimberly golf team. The senior posted the top score for the Papermakers in the Rolling Meadows invite.
Jayda Nelson had a big week for the Kimberly softball team. The senior went 9-for-21 last week with two home runs as the team currently heads into the week with a 13-7 record.
Little Chute softball coach Shelly Birling would like to see players step up at the plate. Her team had 12 hits in their three games played last week as they currently sit at 3-14 on the season.
Kaukauna’s Alexa Kinas posted two first place finishes last week at the FVA conference relays. The junior won in the triple jump and long jump at the home meet.
The Little Chute Mustangs baseball team is finding different ways to win ball games. Last week, the team won a game on a walk off and won a game where their two only runs scored on a sacrifice fly and a hit by pitch.
The Kaukauna Ghosts suffered two close losses last week as they fell to 2-9 on the season. The Ghosts suffered a 5-4 loss to Neenah before losing a 10 inning thriller to Bay Port in non-conference play.
