Kimberly’s Alex Reichenberger is now second in school history in the pole vault. Reichenberger had a first place jump of 14-9 at a conference quad held at Oshkosh North last week, while Casey Krueger took second with a 12-6 and Owen Orioles took third with a jump of 12 feet.
Two area graduates are posting big batting averages at the end of Summit League regular season play. Little Chute graduate Katie Joten and Kimberly graduate Brooke Ellestad have been tearing it up at the plate for their respective teams.
Kaukauna’s Reaghan Millard made her college softball choice last week. The senior has decided to play the beginning of her collegiate softball experience at Southeastern Community College in Iowa.
Karlyn Brockman had the big moment last week for the Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts soccer team. The senior scored a late goal to give Kaukauna a 1-0 win in a non-conference battle with West De Pere at home.
Brennen Grams added another impressive pitching performance to the Kimberly baseball season. Grams had a double digit strikeout performance last week as he has helped the team improve to 12-4 on the season.
The Little Chute girls track and field team took first at the Two Rivers invitational last week, while the boys tied for first at the meet held on May 5. The girls had 148.5 points, while the boys tied with Two Rivers with 139 points.
