Kaukauna wrestling team repeats as Division 1 champions


Kim Matczak photo — The Kaukauna wrestling team won its second consecutive Division 1 championship with a 35-24 victory over Holmen in the finals of the WIAA Team State Wrestling Championship on Saturday at the UW Fieldhouse in Madison.
In a “down year” for the Kaukauna wrestling program, the result was the same as last year and the same as it was from 2014-17 when the Ghosts won the WIAA Division 1 Team State Wrestling Champion-ship.

Bruss in California preparing for National Football League draft

It’s going to be an important and busy next two months for Logan Bruss. 
Being one of the top college offensive linemen in the country, Bruss is preparing for the next stage of his football career: the NFL.
